Der Verein trägt den Namen des bayerischen Schriftstellers, Juristen und Mystikers Karl von Eckartshausen (1752–1803). Sitz des Vereins ist Ingolstadt; er befindet sich gegenwärtig in Gründung.

The association takes its name from the Bavarian writer, jurist and mystic Karl von Eckartshausen (1752–1803). Its seat is Ingolstadt, and it is currently in the process of formation.

Zweck des VereinsPurpose

Die Förderung des Gedankengutes im Sinne Karl von Eckartshausens, insbesondere durch:

The advancement of thought in the spirit of Karl von Eckartshausen, in particular through:

• Veranstaltungen — etwa Vorträge und Diskussionsabende —, deren Gegenstand die Auseinandersetzung mit humanistischen und geisteswissenschaftlich-esoterischen Themen ist;
• events — lectures and evenings of discussion — devoted to humanistic and esoteric subjects in the humanities;
• Öffentlichkeitsarbeit zur Verbreitung dieser Ideen;
• public work to make these ideas known;
• persönliche und gemeinschaftliche Entwicklung im Geiste von Menschenwürde, Bildungsförderung, kulturellem Austausch, Wissenschaftlichkeit und Verantwortung gegenüber Mensch und Natur.
• personal and communal development in the spirit of human dignity, education, cultural exchange, scholarly rigour and responsibility towards people and nature.

Hinzu tritt die ideelle und finanzielle Förderung sozialer Projekte sowie schutz- und hilfsbedürftiger Menschen, insbesondere von Kindern, die besonderer therapeutischer oder pädagogischer Massnahmen bedürfen.

To this is added the support, both in kind and financially, of social projects and of people in need of protection and help — particularly children who require special therapeutic or educational measures.

Der Verein verfolgt nach seiner Satzung ausschliesslich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige Zwecke im Sinne der §§ 51 ff. der Abgabenordnung. Er ist selbstlos tätig und verfolgt keine eigenwirtschaftlichen Zwecke. Die Anerkennung der Gemeinnützigkeit durch das Finanzamt und die Eintragung in das Vereinsregister stehen noch aus; Zuwendungsbestätigungen können daher derzeit nicht ausgestellt werden.

Under its constitution the association pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Fiscal Code. It acts selflessly and pursues no commercial aims of its own. Recognition of charitable status and entry in the register of associations are still pending; donation receipts can therefore not yet be issued.
